west elm pop-up!

Hooray! My West Elm Pop-up (in Philadelphia) was such a great day! I had my talented friend Aliza of Aliza Schlabach Photography (see her website here) stop by to take some photos and they came out amazing! I'm excited to share them here below. 

Thank you to all my friends and gamily who came by to say hello, and to shop! I feel like I had another thesis show - or wedding - but I believe it was totally worth it. The store employees were super helpful and to have my products in a store that I am enamored with was pretty much a dream come true. 

Some of my best sellers were my studio-m flower planters, my pouches from DENY, my new spiral notebooks, my little reclaimed wood blocks, and I even sold one of my large whale canvases. I did bring quite a bit of merchandise (some of which I will soon put into an online shop) but my husband always says "go big or go home..." so thats what I did. And, I think it paid off! :)

Some new illustrations created for a local holiday Event called the Cricket Cringle.

Fun postcard designs for Pine Forest Camp in the Pocono Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania. The postcards come from the counselors and are sent to the parents with an update on how their child is doing. (Fabulous - of course!)

invitation design for the bala house gala

Created this invitation package for the Bala Gala for Bala House Montessori School, in Bala Cynwyd, PA. The Bala Gala is Bala House's annual event that raises funds for tuition assistance, teacher enrichment, facility improvements, and other Bala House needs. 

My son goes to this school and I can not say enough about how GREAT it is. I LOVE Montessori! The materials. The methods. All of it.

It has been a while that I've posted some work - mostly because I have been extremely busy! Looks like spring fundraisers/invitation season has arrived. Here is one recent design for a new client, The Parkinson Council, and I am presently working on another for Bala House, a fabulous Montessori school outside of Philadelphia.

How have I not posted this yet?!? I created the poster and advertising design for the Spring 2012 Clover Market. The first market was yesterday and it was amazing. So many talented vendors and luck finds! I only wish I had mire time to spend there. (We had the Phillies/Mets game to attend with the kids.) I will definitely be back in May! If you are in the Philadelphia area - I suggest you do the same. :)
